Something about our speaker…

Neriza Neville

Born in the Philippines, Neriza immigrated to Canada as a young adult where she began her career as a registered nurse. A mother and proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Neriza, passionate about family, allowed her well-founded faith in God to guide her through the many familiar challenges of family life.

Surviving a car accident in 2015, Neriza suffered the tragic loss of her husband and grandchildren. Not overlooking that year as the Year of Mercy, Neriza,in the face of unspeakable pain, anger and depression draws strength from her faith uniting her broken spirit with the pierced heart of Mary. Seeking comfort in Mary’s Way of the Cross in the solitude of Our Lady of Grace

shrine at Marylake, King City, and trusting in Jesus’ Divine Mercy, Neriza’s healing journey is leading her to life-giving truths: the meaning and value of

suffering, the fragility of the gift life and family, that it’s possible to love without being loved in return and that within her vocation as wife and mother is yet

a deeper call to holiness.
