PART I: FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FOR CHILDREN
In keeping with the guidelines of our Archdiocese of Toronto, regular participation at weekly Catholic mass is required for admission to First Holy Communion. This means that if you attend Mass here at St. Benedict with your child on Saturday evening or Sunday, you are welcome to register your child here for Holy Communion. If you go to another Catholic church, you are encouraged to register your child for Communion at that parish.
At St. Benedict Parish, we are proud to offer 3 parish-based options to help prepare your child to receive his or her First Holy Communion. You can choose the one that best suits your child’s particular needs.
If your child is:
-
Six Years or Older, attends Public or Catholic School and is NOT Baptized
OR
